On May 19, 2020, downtown Sanford was devastated by the failure of the  Sanford Lake dam, and was flooded with the water and debris. The local and surrounding communities have worked tirelessly to clean up and rebuild.

During the early days of the recovery, the founders of LaCannaville decided to try and bring a dispensary to Sanford to attract new consumers from the surrounding area to our Village and help boost the local economic recovery.

So please, if you decide to visit our dispensary - stop and buy your munchies at the Food Pride, grab lunch at the Red Oak, grab a coffee from Bigby, or go pet some cats at the Cozy Cat Cafe - and know that our town appreciates you!
